Plasma Fibroblast

Tell your beautician before treatment, if you taking any medications or have recently taken (antibiotics, coagulation inhibitors, isotretinoin, etc.) and whether or not you have recently undergone surgery or other aesthetic procedures on your skin.

If you are often suffering from herpes infections, you should also tell them before treatment.

In case of fresh wounds on the face no plasma therapy can be performed.

A healthy lifestyle naturally supports the healing process.

The only major requirement prior to treatment is that the skin is not tanned. We also suggest not to apply any cosmetics before the procedure.

We apply a numbing cream prior to commencing the treatment, therefore clients experience little to no pain or discomfort during the treatment.

Yes.
Anyone interested in a Fibroblast procedure is required to have face-to-face consultation. Careful assessment by a specialist will ensure right treatment plan.

Prior to the treatment and to minimize any discomfort, we apply a numbing cream to the treatment area for 45 minutes. The procedure itself takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the size of area we are treating. We advise to clients to allow themselves 2 hours from start to finish which includes a thorough consultation.

Following the treatment it is normal to have some swelling. This can be significant around the eyes and can last for several days. Crusting will develop over the treated area. These will usually be brown or black on the surface of the skin and will flake off over the following days. It is strongly advised not pick these scabs as this may lead to scarring or infection. Occasionally the treatment area may become a little weepy; this is part of the normal healing process and will improve with time. It is also important to note that everyone’s healing time is different.

The treatment should last at least 2-5 years however many lifestyle factors will contribute to how long the results actually last and as everyone knows we cannot physically stop the ageing process.

Yes. It is very important to follow our after-care recommendations. Carbon crusts CANNOT be scratched or removed. Dry skin by dabbing with a clean, lint-free cloth is allowed. It is essential that you keep the treatment area clean, dry and protected. We advise that you do not apply moisturisers until all the scabs have fallen off. It is important that you wear sunscreen after treatment and avoid sunbeds for at least 3 months. Aftercare balm should be reapplied to the area for up to 7 days. Sports, swimming and sauna are not permitted until crusts fall off – this should happen within 7 days of procedure. Healing skin should be protected from direct sun exposure with SPF50 cream. Continuous SPF must be worn every day for at least 6 months.

In some cases, just one treatment may be sufficient. Many of the treatments will depend on the size of the treated area and the client’s desired results. In order to achieve an optimal result, several sessions are usually necessary. The easier the treatment intensity, the more sessions are necessary. The number of sessions depends also on the severity of the findings, as well as on the age of the client.

Normally, 2 to 4 sessions are sufficient, with a minimum time of 6-8 weeks apart.

Overall, the FIBROBLAST is a particularly low-complication and tissue-strengthening treatment.

After initial redness and scabbing, pink skin emerges.

Rashes of the skin are also rare. Both are usually formed after a few weeks.

Most important is a consistent sun protection: during at least 3 months no sun bathing and no solarium, as in some cases to pigment shifts of the skin could occur.
